Allan Webb Ltd. is seeking an experienced Platform Lead Author to head the Technical Publications team on Leonardo Helicopters projects.

The role is homebased with travel to Yeovil or Stonehouse offices as needed, and involves leading the platform, managing tasking, and liaising with the Leonardo Project Manager on delivery schedules. The ideal candidate is a senior technical author with rotary wing aircraft experience, knowledgeable in Eagle/EPS, Helix, Enovia and Catia, and able to guide

Formación

• Senior author with 3+ years on Leonardo platforms or defence rail projects.
• Strong knowledge of rotary wing aircraft and related publications.
• Experience with ASD S1000D and military data modules.

Responsabilidades

• Lead platform team and manage day-to-day workflow delivery.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with Leonardo Project Manager on schedules
• Maintain quality and timely reporting to stakeholders
• Manage training needs and personnel adjustments during SOA execution
• Ensure data and NATO codification submissions are timely

Senior author experience

Leonardo platform knowledge

Rotary wing aircraft knowledge

Eagle/EPS data handling

Helix tasking and assessments

Enovia and Catia use

MS Office proficiency

Leadership of a team

Understanding ASD S1000D 2.1/2.2

STE (ASD-STE-100) knowledge

Merlin/Wildcat familiarity

Educación

HNC level or equivalent aviation subject
