Job summary

SSEN Transmission is seeking a Plant and Cable Maintenance Manager for the Tayside & Argyll region. You will oversee a team of managers, engineers and technicians to coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant operation of transmission assets.

You will drive safety culture, manage budgets and performance, and guide the maintenance function to deliver cost savings and improved quality across the network.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in operation and maintenance of plant and cable assets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a maintenance team to ensure inspections, planned works and urgent repairs are completed safely and effectively.
• Provide leadership aligned with the SSEN Leadership Blueprint, identify cost-saving opportunities, improve quality and drive operational growth.
• Manage performance and budget forecasts with clear KPIs and OPEX reporting.
