Gatwick Airport Limited is seeking a Planning Manager to join the Major Projects team at London Gatwick. The role focuses on developing, implementing and delivering planning and assurance across programmes typically valued well above £150m, with significant influence on delivery and performance.

The role offers an office-first hybrid pattern: three days in the office, two remote, with a strong emphasis on leadership, collaboration and timely project outcomes in a high-profile airport environment.

Qualifications

• Experience planning infrastructure projects on multi-year programmes valued over £100m.
• Experience leading small teams.
• Extensive experience with Primavera P6 and related commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders clearly.
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain schedules for the entire project journey, including interfaces and control programmes.
• Lead planning teams across the programme and multiple projects.
• Lead all programme schedule reporting and develop dashboard metrics.
• Support trend and change processes to improve programme outcomes.
• Assist in managing Risk and Opportunity registers and cost forecasts.
• Support development of standards and mentoring within the GAL planning function.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental standards across the programme.
