Job summary

Vital Energi is seeking a Planning Manager for a site-based role at Gatwick Airport. You will lead the planning and programming of key engineering activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

You will work with preconstruction and delivery teams to create and maintain detailed project plans using Primavera P6, with resource and cost loading where required. You will monitor progress, identify risks, and report deviations to the project team, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of construction detail in M&E services.
• Solid understanding of planning and scheduling techniques.
• Experience managing programmes from concept to handover.

Responsibilities

• Prepare programmes with preconstruction and delivery teams.
• Develop and maintain project plans using Primavera P6.
• Monitor and update programmes to stay on time and within budget.
• Record progress, track variations and report deviations.
• Produce resource- and cost-loaded programmes.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Create lookaheads and programme narratives for teams.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and version control.
• Hold client meetings and workshops to review contracts.
