Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Planner or Planning Manager to lead planning across complex programmes and multidisciplinary teams. You will shape the planning strategy, maintain integrated schedules, and deliver robust schedule analysis for senior stakeholders.

You will apply advanced tools such as Primavera P6 and MSP, drive change control, and ensure governance and contract alignment. Hybrid working and broad project exposure offer growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Significant planning experience on complex programmes or major projects.
• Proven leadership of planning teams and delivery of scheduling outputs.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MSP, Open Plan or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of schedule development, logic, constraints and scenario modelling.
• Experience leading schedule-cost-risk integration and performance measurement (EVM).
• Baseline management, change control and governance expertise.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning teams and provide coaching, direction and QA of scheduling outputs.
• Develop overall planning strategy including structure, governance and reporting frameworks.
• Maintain integrated project schedules with robust logic and critical path.
• Deliver schedule analysis, scenario modelling and impact assessments for stakeholders.
• Lead EVM and schedule-cost-risk integration and trend analysis.
• Ensure alignment of planning with contract requirements and governance.
