Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Planner to own the schedules across complex projects, engaging stakeholders and driving performance. You will oversee baselines, conduct risk-informed analysis and report on KPIs using EVM techniques.

You will work in a flexible, hybrid environment with opportunities for development and international collaboration across sectors including transport, energy and defence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project management or related field.
• Senior Planner with transport, energy, defence, water or rail experience.
• Strong NEC contracts knowledge and application.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement across diverse groups.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills.
• Independent and collaborative work style.
• Engineering graduate with PMP/PMI-SP certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full build and management of schedules and interfaces.
• Provide meetings and workshops to challenge progress and performance.
• Support Planning/Project Controls Managers to maintain schedules.
• Manage contract requirements for the schedules.
• Provide advanced hierarchical reporting such as Earned Value Management.
• Perform critical path evaluation and scenario planning.
• Conduct expert scheduling analysis and delay analysis techniques.
