Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking a Planner to support the delivery of complex projects across rail, highways, utilities and defence. You will develop and maintain schedules with clear logic, dependencies and critical path, providing high‑quality reporting to internal teams and clients.

The role requires experience with Primavera P6 or similar, strong analytical skills and good stakeholder engagement. We offer a hybrid working culture with flexible holiday allowances.

Qualifications

• Project-based planning experience in complex or multidisciplinary environments.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Good communication skills across internal teams and clients.
• Awareness of NEC, JCT and FIDIC contract forms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules with structure, logic, dependencies and critical path.
• Support planning input across mobilisation and delivery phases, defining scope and sequencing.
• Produce schedule updates, progress assessments and variance analysis.
• Assist with scenario modelling, constraints analysis and schedule risk identification.
• Maintain baselines and support change control processes.
