Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited seeks a Senior Planner to lead the full build and management of project schedules, baselines, and interfaces with stakeholders. You will drive meetings to challenge progress and support Planning/Project Controls to maintain performance metrics and contractual obligations.

You will deliver Earned Value reporting, integrate schedule with cost and risk, and perform critical path analysis to improve efficiencies in a range of transportation, energy, defence, water and rail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, construction management or related field.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate across diverse groups.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• The full build and management of schedules, their interfaces and engagement with stakeholders.
• Maintenance and management of baselines to support contractual and performance metrics.
• Provide meetings and workshops to challenge project progress and performance.
• Support Planning / Project Controls Managers to maintain schedules and interfaces.
• Manage contract requirements for the schedules.
• Provide advanced hierarchical reporting outputs such as Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Integration of Schedule, Cost and Risk.
• Provide Critical Path evaluation and scenario planning to mitigate issues and improve efficiencies.
• Proficient in various delay analysis techniques.
