Job summary

South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Planning Team Leader to coordinate and guide Resource Planners, ensuring rosters are accurate and staffing is in the right place at the right time. You will work with operations colleagues to balance demands and deliver efficient workforce planning.

To succeed you will have a diploma-level qualification or equivalent, plus experience in admin/corporate services, data analysis, and producing reports for senior management.

Qualifications

• Diploma level or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in an administrative or corporate services environment.
• Ability to analyse and interpret complex information and produce assessments or reports for senior management.
• Builds effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Communicates clearly and adapts approach to different audiences.
• Takes ownership and accountability for work and can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coordination and guidance to Resource Planners.
• Oversee recording of staff working hours and patterns.
• Support management and uploading of rotas using the GRS system.
• Assist in allocating unit hours to optimise patient care.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, Payroll, IT and Predictive Analytics.
• Produce reports and analyse planning and performance information for senior staff.
