Job summary

WSP's Planning Consultancy team in Bristol seeks an experienced Associate/Associate Director with extensive planning process knowledge (EIA, EIP/plan promotion, appeals). You will lead major developments, negotiate with authorities and manage multi-disciplinary teams while growing the business network.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in the planning process including EIA, EIP/plan promotion and appeals.
• Experience leading major developments and negotiations with planning authorities and stakeholders.
• Ability to grow into a leadership role within a supportive team with a strong network advantageous in East Anglia.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality planning advice to clients at all stages of development.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams on planning projects.
• Lead client meetings and manage project budgets.
• Support junior staff and mentor colleagues.
• Manage key client relationships and contribute to business development.
