Job summary

Egis is seeking a skilled Project Planner/Scheduler to support complex civil and utilities projects across the UK. You will build and maintain schedules, coordinate with designers, customers and suppliers, and ensure realistic plans reflecting risks and opportunities to hit milestones.

You will review sequences, facilitate readiness planning, manage risk registers, perform delay analysis, and prepare regular EV/cost-loaded schedules.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Achieved or working towards professional qualifications (APM, RICS, CICES).
• Must have Right to Work in the UK or be able to secure prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external parties.
• Prepare and update Detailed Programme with designers/customers to reflect risks and milestones.
• Review design/construction sequence to confirm duration within the overall schedule.
• Facilitate design/construction readiness planning.
• Coordinate client and supply chain collaborative planning sessions.
• Review sub-supplier/contractor programmes for compliance with NEC4 and contract.
• Cost load the schedule where appropriate; generate Earned Value from cost-loaded schedule.
• Monthly updating of the schedule and reports.
• Update schedules with compensation events or other impacts on the programme.
• Undertake delay analysis to support claims and determinations.
• Minimise cost while maintaining standards and quality.
• Assist to avoid disputes and provide feedback on contract pricing.
• Attend progress meetings with clients and subcontractors.
• Ensure programmes are realistic and compliant with system requirements.
• Contribute to project risk register and safety practices.
