Job summary

Assystem in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Planner to support the planning and delivery of complex energy, grid and power projects. You will develop and maintain robust programmes and work with engineering, construction and procurement teams.

The candidate should have significant planning experience in energy, utilities or infrastructure sectors, with strong knowledge of grid connections, critical path analysis and proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Planner or Senior Planner in energy, grid or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience creating and maintaining integrated project programmes.
• Proficiency with planning tools Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain detailed project programmes from concept through to handover.
• Align programmes with engineering, construction, procurement and project delivery teams.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and risks, and report to senior management.
• Maintain governance including baselines, milestones and progress measurement.
• Review contractor and supplier programmes and ensure alignment with delivery strategy.
• Support risk and opportunity management and mitigation planning.
