Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Senior Planner to deliver critical defence and nuclear infrastructure projects in the Glasgow area. You will develop, baseline and maintain integrated schedules, ensuring alignment with cost and resource plans while supporting decision-making with detailed variance and critical-path reporting.

This role is based in Glasgow, 37 hours per week, with hybrid working available. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required, and you must be able to

Qualifications

• Experience in project planning within engineering, nuclear, defence or major infrastructure.
• Proficient with Primavera P6 and MS Project to develop and maintain integrated schedules.
• Experience managing schedules across bid through project close-out.
• Applied quantitative risk analysis and schedule performance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project structures (WBS, OBS, RBS, CBS).
• Develop and basel ine integrated schedules across project levels.
• Align scheduling with project financial and material demand toolsets.
• Provide schedule analysis, status updates and KPIs for decision-making.
• Produce resource and cost-loaded schedules for business planning and PM performance.
