Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear, part of the Babcock International Group, is seeking a Senior Planner in Glasgow. This full-time role involves delivering critical defence and nuclear infrastructure projects with hybrid working patterns and a 37-hour week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Experience in project planning within engineering, nuclear, defence, construction or major infrastructure environments is beneficial.
• Experience using advanced scheduling tools to develop and maintain integrated schedules.
• Experience applying quantitative risk analysis and schedule performance assessment techniques.

Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing and maintaining project structures including Work Breakdown Structures, Organizational Breakdown Structures, Resource Breakdown Structures and Cost Breakdown Structures.
• Developing, baselining and maintaining integrated project schedules across multiple project levels.
• Ensuring alignment between scheduling systems and project financial and material demand toolsets.
• Providing schedule analysis, status updates, performance metrics and critical path reporting to support project decision-making.
• Producing resource and cost-loaded schedules that support integrated business planning and project performance management.
