Job summary

Altrad seeks an experienced Senior Planner to join the Glasgow team. You will develop and maintain integrated project schedules for major nuclear defence infrastructure programmes, coordinating with delivery, engineering and commercial teams to ensure regulated projects stay on track.

The role requires strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project, and eligibility for SC clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning roles within construction, infrastructure, defence, nuclear or other regulated sectors.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Understanding of project controls, scheduling and risk management principles.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Security Clearance (SC) eligibility and British National status.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and delivery programmes.
• Monitor progress, milestones, critical paths and performance.
• Support forecasting, reporting and project controls activities.
• Identify risks, delays and opportunities with mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for schedule alignment.
• Assist with change management, progress updates and stakeholder reporting.
• Promote planning best practice and continuous improvement.
