Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Senior Planner based at our Glasgow site with a hybrid working pattern. The role focuses on delivering defence and nuclear infrastructure projects for UK national security, including schedule development and performance reporting.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and the ability to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance. Hybrid working and a 37-hour week are offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing and maintaining project structures including Work Breakdown Structures, Organisational Breakdown Structures, Resource Breakdown Structures and Cost Breakdown Structures
• Developing, baselining and maintaining integrated project schedules across multiple project levels
• Ensuring alignment between scheduling systems and project financial and material demand toolsets
• Providing schedule analysis, status updates, performance metrics and critical path reporting to support project decision-making
• Producing resource and cost-loaded schedules that support integrated business planning and project performance management
