Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd in Leeds seeks a Senior Planner to lead the planning management function for the UK Infrastructure Business Unit and set the standard for planning and project controls.

The role involves developing baseline and target programmes, coordinating with design, procurement and construction, and providing regular progress reports to the group board. Experience with Primavera P6 and 4D/2D modelling is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a construction-related field.
• Qualifications in construction management.
• Certification for planning and programme software.

Responsibilities

• Lead baseline contract programme development with full logic and critical path.
• Prepare construction (target) programme with improvements against contract.
• Create tender event programme for subcontract procurement.
• Maintain planning documents and use CDE for retrieval.
• Provide programme information to management.
• Develop 4D/2D phasing models when required.
• Contribute to project prelim books (staff, logistics, etc.).
• Engage with supply chain to develop the programme.
• Review risks and opportunities with mitigations.
