Job summary

John Sisk & Son is seeking a Senior Planner to join our UK Construction Business Unit in London. The role leads the planning management function across preconstruction and construction, setting standards and producing regular reports for the group board.

You will lead baseline and target programmes, manage tender events, and develop 4D/2D representations while coordinating with the supply chain to optimise design and build sequences. Strong Primavera P6 expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced Primavera P6 training with cost/resource tracking.
• Certification for planning software use.
• Membership of relevant professional body where applicable.
• Experience with construction planning and programme controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of baseline contract programme with full logic and critical path.
• Prepare construction (target) programme highlighting improvements.
• Create tender event programme for subcontractor procurement.
• Maintain electronic planning documents via CDE and support management.
• Develop 4D/2D phasing representations to show build sequence and logistics.
• Produce project prelim books covering staff, logistics and temporary works.
• Collaborate with supply chain to align design, lead-ins, and construction timelines.
• Identify risks and mitigations in programmes and flag float/time risk allowances.
