Job summary

John Sisk & Son is seeking a Senior Planner to lead the planning management function for the UK Infrastructure unit in York. You will set standards for planning, review performance, and provide regular reports to the group board.

You will develop baseline and target programmes, create 4D models or 2D phasing, and collaborate with supply chain while managing risks and opportunities across design, procurement, and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• Construction management qualifications or equivalent.
• Certification for planning and programme software.
• Membership of a relevant professional body where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of baseline and target programmes with critical path.
• Prepare tender programmes and manage procurement timelines.
• Maintain electronic planning documents and CDE administration.
• Develop 4D/2D phasing models and logistics sequences.
• Provide programme data to the management team and stakeholders.
• Review risk and opportunities, highlight mitigations in the programme.
