Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support a major infrastructure project in the UK. The role requires hands-on planning, programme management, and regular site presence to ensure delivery against milestones.

You will develop and maintain detailed programmes using Primavera P6, prepare progress reports and dashboards, and collaborate with project management, commercial teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to mitigate delays and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Planner in construction, civil engineering, infra or major projects.
• Strong practical experience using Primavera P6.
• Demonstrable experience managing complex construction programmes.
• Excellent understanding of critical path methodology and programme controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, clients and subcontractors.
• Experience producing progress reports and programme updates for senior stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project programmes using industry-standard planning software.
• Monitor project progress against programme milestones and key deliverables.
• Prepare and update short-term and long-term construction programmes.
• Produce programme reports, progress updates, and management dashboards.
• Identify programme risks, delays, and mitigation measures.
• Support commercial and project management teams with programme-related analysis.
• Conduct critical path analysis and assess the impact of changes and variations.
• Facilitate planning meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Review subcontractor programmes and integrate them into the master programme.
• Ensure planning activities comply with contractual requirements and established procedures.
• Support project controls, earned value analysis, and forecasting activities.
• Provide planning expertise and strategic advice to project leadership teams.
