Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a Senior Planner to lead the planning management function for the UK Infrastructure Business Unit on a York-based scheme. You will set standards for planning, produce progress reports for the group board, and oversee preconstruction and construction phase planning.

The role involves developing baseline and 4D/2D phasing models, coordinating with subcontractors, and maintaining comprehensive planning documentation across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Advanced project controls and progress reporting experience.
• Familiarity with cost management and resource planning.
• Experience with planning software and professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the baseline contract programme with full logic and critical path.
• Prepare construction/target programmes and tender event schedules.
• Maintain planning documents and utilise CDE for access and auditability.
• Develop 4D or 2D phasing models and assist with logistics planning.
• Engage supply chain to align design, lead-ins and construction periods.
• Review risks and opportunities and propose mitigations in programmes.
