Job summary

AECOM is seeking a cost/schedule oriented professional to support project controls across structural and infrastructure projects in the UK. The role emphasizes managing baselines, tracking progress, and coordinating with delivery teams while maintaining robust cost and schedule reporting.

The ideal candidate will develop integrated schedules using MS Project and Primavera P6, define WBS, milestones, and critical paths, and forecast resource demand to keep projects within funding limits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in leading meetings and supporting a Project Manager.
• Ability to work with integrated project schedules and cost data.
• Understanding of WBS, dependencies, milestones and critical paths.
• Experience producing baseline schedules and progress reports.
• Forecasting resource demand and aligning plans with delivery teams.
• Familiar with cost/schedule integration and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead meetings and act as a right hand to the Project Manager.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules (MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Define WBS, dependencies, milestones and critical paths for projects.
• Produce baseline schedules, monitor progress and manage schedule changes.
• Forecast resource demand and align with delivery and operations teams.
• Prepare cost forecasts and expenditure tracking against funding limits.
• Create dashboards and progress reports for stakeholders.
• Assist in project cost reviews and reporting.
