Job summary

Tilbury Douglas in Castleford is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our Regional Building Team, delivering robust programmes from pre-construction through to completion. You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and the supply chain to secure successful project outcomes.

The role requires extensive planning experience, NEC contract knowledge, and strong communication and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Extensive planning experience across pre-construction and live construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contract requirements and construction methodology.
• Proficiency in ASTA and familiarity with BIM and document management systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and review construction programmes from prequalification to delivery.
• Support work-winning activities, tender strategy, and client presentations.
• Monitor progress, update programmes, identify risks and opportunities.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Promote continuous improvement and mentoring junior planners.
