Job summary

Turner & Townsend, London, seeks an experienced Senior Construction Planner to join the Real Estate Division. The role supports Commercial Developer and Industrial, Sciences and Technology teams with pre-construction planning and advisory services, and collaborates with Cost Management as needed.

You will develop detailed programmes and provide strategic scheduling from early design through construction, maintaining client and stakeholder relationships to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience delivering projects as a Senior/Project Planner.
• Experience across Residential, Commercial, Education, Leisure, Industrial, Health & Retail.
• Proficient with Asta Powerproject; Primavera and MS Project are a plus.
• Experience providing planning, programming or project controls advice to clients in pre-construction stages.

Responsibilities

• Produce integrated programmes (design, procurement, construction) with build strategy and phasing.
• Provide pre-construction planning and scheduling advice to clients early in project development.
• Support project team with planning functions and highlight issues within the programme.
• Provide planning direction to project teams and produce programme assurance reports.
• Apply critical path analysis and assess impact of changes on activities.
• Produce outputs for compensation events and delay analysis reports.
• Produce progress reports showing variances against baselines.
• Deliver Period Programme Updates and feed into project reports.
• Coordinate between Clients, Partners, consultants and contractors’ programmes for compliance.
• Assist bidding teams with planning activities for timely submissions.
• Collaborate with PM and Cost Management for integrated advice.
