Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking a Senior/Associate Project Planner to support multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects. You will develop and maintain detailed project schedules, lead a team of planners, and provide weekly/monthly updates to Project Managers and Directors.

Ideal candidates will have a recognised engineering degree, extensive Primavera P6 and MS Project experience, and strong EVM and risk/cost analysis skills.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree or diploma in engineering or related field.
• Expert user of Primavera P6 and MS Project for planning and scheduling.
• Proficient in Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Experience in schedule, risk and cost analysis.
• Proficient in NEC contract types and applying contract clauses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement high-quality planning and scheduling standards.
• Produce detailed logic-linked project plans in P6 with resource loading.
• Integrate project control procedures into delivery processes.
• Provide expert weekly or monthly schedule updates.
• Produce monthly planning reports, resource updates and projections.
• Create ad-hoc reports highlighting schedule impacts and effects on progress.
• Lead and develop a team of planners.
• Monitor performance against programme, technical quality, financial and KPI targets.
