Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK is seeking a Senior Planner to support complex projects across transportation, energy, defence, water and rail. You will manage baselines, run EVM reporting and provide advanced schedule analysis to drive on‑time delivery.

You’ll work with Planning / Project Controls Managers to maintain schedules, integrate cost and risk, and engage stakeholders across diverse groups. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and a PMP/ PMI-SP certification are preferred; NEC contracts

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Experience as a Senior Planner with transportation, energy, defence, water and rail projects; NEC contracts knowledge.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication across diverse groups.
Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and management of baselines to support contracts and performance metrics.
Lead meetings/workshops to challenge project progress and performance.
Support Planning / Project Controls Managers to maintain schedules and interfaces.
Manage contract requirements for schedules.
Provide advanced reporting outputs such as Earned Value Management.
Perform schedule integration of schedule, cost and risk, with critical path evaluation and scenario planning.
Conduct expert scheduling and delay analysis.
