Job summary

Talk Recruitment is seeking a Senior Planner in Derbyshire for a leading main contractor. The role combines Derbyshire office work, site visits and some remote arrangements, with projects across Education, Health, Leisure, Student Accommodation and PRS.

You will use Asta Powerproject for tender and live works planning, with potential career progression toward a regional planning manager. Competitive basic salary, car or allowance, pension, and a staff bonus are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Planner or similar role.
• Experience in building sector projects (Commercial, Mixed Use, Residential, Student Accommodation, Hotels, MOJ, Education).
• Previous Main Contractor employment.
• Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC).

Responsibilities

• Plan Tender and Live works using Asta Powerproject for regional projects.
• Mix of Derbyshire office, site visits and remote work with travel.
• Coordinate across Education, Health, Leisure, Student Accommodation and PRS sectors.

ROLE:

As Senior Planner your role will include:

Mix of Derbyshire office, site visits and remote work, good commuter links from Yorkshire, wider East Midlands and also Staffordshire.

Working on regional projects in the Midlands and Yorkshire.

The role will involve a mix of Tender stage and Live works planning duties, using Asta power project software, working across a range of sectors including Education, Health, Leisure, Student Accommodation and PRS.

In addition they also have other vacancies available for intermediate level planners to join their team as well.

REQUIREMENTS:

To be considered for this Senior Planner role you must meet the following criteria:

• Knowledge of Building Sector.
• Previous employment as a Senior Planner, Planner, Planning Engineer, Planning Manager, Project Controller, Project Manager or Site Manager.
• Previous experience in building sector projects such as Commercial, Mixed Use, Residential, Apartment Blocks, Student Accommodation, Hotels, MOJ, Industrial or Education.
• Previous Main Contractor employment.
• High level of communication skills.
• Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).
