Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Senior Construction Planner to join a Tier 1 build contractor on notable projects in the North of England. You will develop integrated programmes, oversee progress, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors to drive on-schedule delivery.

Ideal candidates have main contractor experience on £10m+ schemes, a construction degree, and proficiency with Asta Powerproject. The role offers hybrid working, strong pension, private healthcare, and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of construction planning experience within a main contractor environment on projects between £10m+ – £100m.
• Construction related degree (BSc / HND/C or equivalent).
• Competent user of Asta Powerproject and other planning tools.
• Good attention to detail & accuracy with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive programmes incorporating all project disciplines with realistic timescales and allocate resources.
• Provide and monitor project progress and compile accurate reporting to project teams and clients.
• Identify risks and opportunities within the programme.
• Liaise with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Are you a Senior Construction Planner looking for a new challenge & the opportunity to join a tier 1 build contractor to work on some of the North of England's leading construction projects?

With secured pipeline projects across the North of England, this Tier 1 build contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Planner to work across a number of projects within the region. The company is a multi-disciplinary build contractor that work across several sectors including education, health, government, defence, commercial, industrial & the residential sectors. They can offer excellent career progression opportunities to develop within a leading UK wide construction business working on some of the North West's most prestigious developments.

Responsibilities for Senior Construction Planner:

Creating comprehensive programmes incorporating all project disciplines, ensuring realistic timescales and allocating resource
Providing and monitoring of project progress and compiling accurate reporting to project teams and clients
Identifying risks and opportunities within the programme
Liaison with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless and efficient project delivery

Experience / Qualifications Required:

Salary & Package on offer:

Base Salary £75k – £85k (dependent on level of experience)
