Job summary

NUVIA UK, a VINCI Construction subsidiary, invites applications for a Principal Piping Engineer in Glasgow. The role sits in a multidisciplinary team within the Approval Authority and focuses on substantiation documents, design changes, and safety cases for high-hazard environments.

The ideal candidate has strong piping expertise, familiarity with UK/EU standards, and experience in safety-critical projects. Hybrid work pattern and a competitive package are offered.

Qualifications

Experienced Piping Engineer with knowledge of industrial plant and machinery.
Understanding of current design standards incl. British & European standards.
Experience across concept, detailed design and construction stages in industrial/maritime projects.

Responsibilities

Authoring, development and management of Nuclear Infrastructure Design Substantiation documents.
Authoring and assessment of design changes/concessions.
Presentation of substantiations to Due Process safety committees.
