Circle Health Group's Meriden Hospital is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist in MSK to join a dedicated physiotherapy team. The role is 37.5 hours per week, full-time, with a flexible shift pattern and a permanent contract.

The ideal candidate will be HCPC-registered with extensive post-registration outpatient experience, strong clinical reasoning, and excellent communication. UK hospital experience and leadership are desirable.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist required.
• Minimum 3 years post-registration experience in outpatient settings.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess and treat patients with complex needs in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Develop individualised treatment plans using various physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery.
• Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective patient care.
• Provide guidance and informal supervision to junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students.
• Assist in induction and training of new staff.

Senior Physiotherapist - MSK Meriden Hospital 37.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £46,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
• Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.
• Act as a point of contact for junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students, offering guidance and informal supervision.
• Assist in the induction and training of new staff.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to team working and service improvement.
• Must have minimum 3 years experience in an outpatients setting.
• UK hospital experience is essential.
• Leadership experience is desirable.
