Job summary

Circle Health Group’s Meriden Hospital in Coventry is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy team. The role is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, permanent, with a salary up to £46,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful applicant will be HCPC-registered, bring strong clinical reasoning, and cover a flexible shift pattern across inpatient/outpatient settings, supporting a multidisciplinary team and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.
• Act as a point of contact for junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students, offering guidance and informal supervision.
• Assist in the induction and training of new staff.

We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapy department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
• Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to team working and service improvement.
• Must have minimum 3 years experience in an outpatients setting.
• UK hospital experience is essential.
• Leadership experience is desirable.
