Job summary

The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy department on a permanent basis. The 30-hour week includes a flexible shift pattern, with clinics Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm.

The salary is up to £55,000 FTE depending on experience, training and qualification. You will independently assess and treat complex cases across inpatient or outpatient settings, develop individualised treatment plans, and work

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist
• Post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas
• Experience with oncology patients including oncology rehabilitation (breast care desirable)
• Evidence of CPD or postgraduate learning in a clinical area
• Experience mentoring junior staff or students
• Familiarity with electronic documentation and outcome measurement tools
• Involvement in audit or clinical service initiatives

Responsibilities

• Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.

30 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £55,000.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification). The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department. This is a part-time role for 30 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern with normal operating clinics Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm.

Duties of this role include:

• Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
• Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.
• Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
• Experience with oncology patients including oncology rehabilitation including breast care desirable.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to team working and service improvement.
• Evidence of CPD or postgraduate learning in a relevant clinical area.
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff or students.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation and outcome measurement tools.
• Involvement in audit or clinical service initiatives.
