The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Lead Pharmacy Technician to manage the SDU’s daily operations across RMH sites. You will oversee procurement, storage, dispensing and distribution of Batch and patient-specific products, ensuring safe, patient-focused service delivery.

You will lead the SDU team, optimise staffing, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvements while maintaining compliance with GPhC standards and hospital procedures.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ/QCF level 3 or equivalent in pharmaceutical sciences.
• Registered with GPhC as a pharmacy technician.
• Regional Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician status.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage staff across two RMH sites for SDU operations.
• Maintain stock levels and oversee Batch/PS distribution and wastage.
• Monitor KPIs and audit workload, errors and capacity weekly.
• Coordinate leave, rosters and staff allocation to meet demand.
• Liaise with suppliers and ensure timely orders and deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, GPhC guidance and audits.
