Job summary

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a capable Pharmacy Technician to join the Medicine Optimisation team, undertaking high‑level technical duties across clinical medicine management and Accredited Checking duties.

The post holder will be an integral part of the Medicine Optimisation team working alongside the Pharmacists and a range of health care professionals; they will work seamlessly between primary and secondary care and link with a range of healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Qualified pharmacy technician with GPhC registration or equivalent.
• Accredited Checking Technician status or equivalent.
• Experience in hospital or community pharmacy settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical duties in pharmaceutical care within Medicine Optimisation.
• Mentor staff and act as a link between primary and secondary care.
• Support rapid and safe discharge planning and concordance with medicines.
• Offer professional pharmaceutical advice to healthcare professionals and patients.
