Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician for the Medicines Evaluation Unit (MEU) in Manchester. You will oversee the manufacture, preparation and assembly of IMP and ensure equipment is maintained and compliant with GPhC, MHRA, GMP and GDP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
• GPhC registered technician is desirable
• Experience in GMP regulated environments preferred
• 1 year experience in a Pharmacy environment
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; good English communication

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacture, preparation and assembly of IMP
• Manage maintenance, calibration and lifecycle of pharmacy equipment
• Prepare and review study paperwork (drug dispensing forms, material specs)
• Review protocols for IMP and pharmacy requirements
• Assist with IMP preparation under manufacturing licence and documentation
• Conduct independent verification of post-QP dose preparation activities
• Check dose calculations, product selection, preparation records, labelling and accountability for study protocols
