Job summary

IQVIA’s Medicines Evaluation Unit (MEU) in Manchester seeks a Senior Pharmacy Technician to support the manufacture, preparation and assembly of IMP in a GMP-compliant environment. You will oversee equipment maintenance, review study paperwork and verify dose preparation activities to ensure patient safety.

Desirable qualifications include a Pharmacy degree and GPhC registration, with 1 year of Pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (desirable).
• GPhC registered technician (desirable).
• Experience in a GMP regulated environment.
• Attention to detail.
• 1 year experience in a Pharmacy environment.
• Computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist and oversee the manufacture, preparation and assembly of IMP.
• Oversee maintenance, calibration and lifecycle management of pharmacy equipment.
• Prepare and review study-related paperwork (drug dispensing forms, material specs).
• Review protocols and provide input on IMP and Pharmacy requirements.
• Assist with preparation of IMP under the manufacturing licence and related documentation.
• Conduct independent verification of post-QP dose preparation activities to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
