Job summary

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer to support Stores and Distribution. The role covers distribution and procurement tasks across wards and departments, with cross-site duties to standardize receiving practices.

You will use EPIC to issue stock, respond to stock requests via Omnicell, check and pack items for delivery, and maintain accurate stock records.

Qualifications

• Must have GCSE English and Maths (A-C/4-9).
• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or working towards it.
• Understanding of medicines supply chain in hospital settings.
• Experience training staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 7-day service including weekends.
• Handle telephone and in-store inquiries with reference to senior staff.
• Provide high standard customer service to internal/external customers.
• Maintain data accuracy on computer systems.
