Job summary

Ips Group, in partnership with a well-established UK insurer, is seeking a Personal Lines Team Leader to oversee a large team of Personal Lines professionals across two locations, with hybrid working and travel between Sheffield and the South Coast.

You will guide service quality, performance and staff development, while collaborating with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and regulatory compliance. The role requires travel between offices and strong customer-focused leadership.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within Personal Lines insurance.
• Proven people leadership experience at Team Leader/Manager level.
• Strong understanding of Personal Lines products and customer journeys.
• Experience managing operational performance and service delivery.
• Excellent FCA regulatory knowledge and Consumer Duty.
• Experience with change, transformation or continuous improvement.
• Experience leading cross-location teams and travel between Sheffield and the South Coast.

Responsibilities

• Lead a ~20-person Personal Lines team across two locations.
• Drive customer outcomes, retention, and regulatory compliance.
• Foster an engaged team culture and employee development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and business transformation projects.
• Build strong relationships with insurers and internal stakeholders.
• Travel between Sheffield and the South Coast as required.
