Job summary

Standard Life, a retirement specialist, invites applications for a Senior Performance Analyst to join a high-profile team at the centre of strategic decision-making. You will influence performance reporting, including Remuneration Committee reporting and Group Scorecard analysis, supporting senior leaders with insights.

Externally you will partner with Investor Relations to prepare investor materials and help shape external narratives, while maintaining a strong link to IFRS and regulatory

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or actuary.
• FP&A, commercial finance, strategic finance or performance-management experience within a complex financial services organisation.
• Experience in life insurance or pensions, IFRS 17, Solvency II and the drivers of profit, cash and capital performance.
• Proven experience managing multiple priorities and prioritising accordingly.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely and high-quality reporting to the Board Remuneration Committee aligned to internal targets and scorecards.
• Coordinate unit/function scorecard submissions with robust challenge and insights.
• Model Financial Framework scenarios to inform CFO discussions with the Board/ExCom.
• Support interim/annual reports with investor presentations, results packs and Q&A responses.
• Produce Business Review for the Interim and Annual Report.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to identify key messages and potential performance risks.
• Carry out regular peer and market analysis feeding strategy discussions.
