Standard Life plc is seeking a Senior Performance Analyst for a 12-month fixed term contract based in London or Edinburgh, with a hybrid working pattern. The role focuses on performance reporting, investor relations support, and strategic financial insights to influence group decisions.

You will own Remuneration Committee reporting, support external communications, and partner with Investor Relations to shape external narratives while ensuring internal performance is clearly understood.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or actuary.
• FP&A, commercial finance, strategic finance or performance-management experience within a complex financial services organisation.
• Experience in life insurance or pensions, including a strong understanding of IFRS 17, Solvency II and the drivers of profit, cash and capital performance.
• Proven experience managing multiple priorities and prioritising accordingly.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Good commercial judgement, analytical capability and confidence providing constructive challenge to senior stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Delivery of timely and high-quality reporting to the Board and Remuneration Committee.
• Coordinate scorecard submissions and provide robust analysis and insights.
• Complete Financial Framework scenario modelling to support financial strategy.
• Support interim and annual report announcements with investor materials and Q&A responses.
• Produce Business Review for the Interim and Annual Report.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to identify key messages and risks for results.
• Carry out regular peer and market analysis to inform strategy discussions.
