WTW in Welwyn is seeking a Senior Pensions Administrator to join our Outsourcing line on a hybrid basis. You will manage complex DB/DC pension calculations and support a portfolio of high-profile clients.

In this role you will mentor junior colleagues, review work, and ensure high-quality service while adhering to pension legislation and internal guidance. This position offers varied projects and opportunities to develop technical expertise.

Qualifications

• DB and/or DC pensions administration experience including retirement, transfers and deaths.
• Strong knowledge of pensions legislation and regulations.
• Experience with DB manual calculations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy with procedural documentation.
• Ability to manage high volumes while maintaining quality.
• Excellent communication and Excel/Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Process complex pension calculations and queries across retirement, transfers and deaths.
• Check and mentor junior colleagues to ensure accuracy and targets.
• Act as escalation point for technical issues and non-standard cases.
• Apply pensions legislation and WTW guidance to daily work.
• Support Team Leader to meet service levels and coordinate workload.
• Coach and develop colleagues and identify areas for service improvements.
• Assist in complex or project-based work as required.
