WTW in Welwyn Garden City is seeking a Senior Pensions Administrator to join our Outsourcing team on a hybrid basis. You will manage complex DB and/or DC pension calculations and provide high-quality administration for a diverse client portfolio, mentoring juniors and ensuring accuracy.

The role involves retirements, transfers and deaths, with opportunities to drive process improvements and support the Team Leader in meeting SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience in occupational pension administration, handling retirements, transfers, and deaths.
• Solid knowledge of DB/DC pension legislation and regulation.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedural documentation.
• Ability to manage high volumes while maintaining accuracy.
• Experience mentoring colleagues and supporting team development.
• Experience in a hybrid/multi-site team is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage complex pensions calculations across various case types.
• Check junior colleagues' work and provide feedback.
• Act as escalation point for technical issues and member complaints.
• Apply pension legislation and WTW guidance daily.
• Assist Team Leader in meeting SLAs and coordinating workload.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues.
• Identify process improvements for client service.
• Participate in complex and project-based work.
