Distinct Consultancy Group in Harrow seeks an experienced Payroll Supervisor to oversee end-to-end payroll processing for weekly and monthly cycles, supervise the payroll team, and ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will work hands-on with COINS payroll software, manage statutory deductions, RTI/FPS submissions, pensions, year-end procedures, and drive improvements while delivering a high-quality service to clients and employees.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive payroll experience in a bureau or client-focused environment
• Proven end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processing
• Experience supervising or managing a payroll team
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory deductions
• Experience with RTI/FPS, HMRC, pensions and year-end procedures
• High accuracy and attention to detail

Aufgaben

• Supervise and support the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Process weekly and monthly payrolls end-to-end using COINS payroll software.
• Check payroll calculations and ensure accurate data entry.
• Manage statutory payments, deductions, Student Loans and Court Orders.
• Handle holidays, sickness absence, and entitlement calculations.
• Administer Auto-Enrolment pensions and contribution calculations.
• Complete RTI/FPS submissions and respond to HMRC queries.
• Calculate pro-rata, daily and hourly rates for different schedules.
• Support year-end procedures and P60s.
• Ensure compliance with current payroll legislation and best practices.
• Provide guidance and training to the payroll team.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
