Job summary

Portfolio Group in London/Harrow is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to manage end-to-end weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely processing. You will support junior team members and liaise with HMRC as needed.

The role offers hybrid working, 40-45k salary, 8:30am–5pm, with free parking and private healthcare. Key requirements include extensive payroll experience (COINS preferred), strong Excel skills and previous supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive payroll experience, including weekly and monthly processing.
• Experience supervising a small payroll team or junior staff.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data handling.
• Clear communication with colleagues, managers and HMRC.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll weekly and monthly for starters, leavers and statutory payments.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and auto-enrolment pensions.
• Submit RTI filings and liaise with HMRC.
• Assist with year-end procedures (P60s).
• Provide guidance and support to the payroll team.
