WSP Shared Services in the UK is seeking a payroll professional to support the accurate monthly payroll processing for its UK & Ireland base, servicing over 10,000 employees. The role emphasizes accuracy, time management and strong organisation to handle cut-offs and statutory deductions.

Responsibilities include HR liaison, pension schemes, P11d input, and potential TUPE projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality payroll service and timely reporting.

Qualificações

• Experience in a busy payroll department within a medium to large organisation.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• ERP systems literate.
• Ability to use own initiative to solve everyday issues.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Systematic and procedural approach.
• Customer service oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Process monthly payroll changes accurately and timely.
• Monitor cut-off dates and ensure information is received in advance of deadlines.
• Liaise with HR to obtain required information.
• Understand tax and NI calculations, including deductions.
• Knowledge of pensions and salary sacrifice schemes.
• Ensure e-filing submissions and payments are compliant.
• Assist with P11d returns and related reconciliations.
• Support pensions scheme administration and TUPE projects.
• Provide information for audits, mortgage requests and statistics.
• Manage Payroll Services helpdesk queries within SLA.
• Other ad-hoc duties as requested by Payroll Manager or Finance/HR teams.
