Job summary

Talent Sure Recruitment Limited is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our client in Dorset/Hampshire. This full-time, permanent role oversees UK and European payroll delivery, partnering with external providers and HR stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance across multiple sites.

You will handle PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP and pension calculations, perform reconciliations, and support reporting and process improvements. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in UK payroll and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience in UK payroll.
• Proficient in PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP and pension administration.
• Advanced Excel skills for data reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Experience working with outsourced payroll providers.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication; able to liaise with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing across UK and Spain (multi-site).
• Calculate PAYE/ NI / SSP / SMP and pension contributions per statutory rules.
• Prepare payroll reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Collaborate with outsourced payroll vendors to ensure service delivery.
• Support employee queries and provide clear guidance on pay matters.
• Maintain SOPs and assist with payroll reporting and process improvements.
