Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Leeds is seeking a payroll professional to join our Financial Services function. You will assist in the accurate delivery of UK and Ireland payrolls, supporting a payroll service for over 10,000 employees.

You will handle changes to monthly payroll, monitor cut-off dates, collaborate with HR, and apply statutory deductions, NIC, pensions, and salary sacrifice schemes while maintaining high accuracy under time pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a busy Payroll Department within a medium to large organisation.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• ERP systems literate and proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all changes impacting the monthly payroll.
• Monitor cut-off dates and ensure information is received ahead of deadlines.
• Liaise with HR to obtain required information and ensure accuracy.
• Apply tax, National Insurance, pensions and salary sacrifice schemes accurately.
• Support P11d and pensions administration as required.
• Manage Payroll Helpdesk queries and resolve them within SLA.
