WSP is seeking a payroll professional to support UK & Ireland payrolls within the Shared Services function. You will ensure accurate monthly payroll processing, monitor cut-offs, coordinate with HR, and support tax, NI, pension calculations and statutory deductions.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organisation, and timely delivery across multiple stakeholders. Experience in a busy payroll environment, strong numerical and analytical skills, and proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office are

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a busy Payroll Department within a medium to large organisation.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• ERP systems literate
• Ability to use own initiative to solve everyday issues
• Ability to manage time and work to deadline pressures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service facing.

Responsabilités

• Process changes impacting the monthly payroll accurately and timely.
• Monitor cut-off dates and ensure information is received before deadlines.
• Coordinate with HR to collect required information.
• Sound awareness of tax and National Insurance calculations, understanding the manual calculation of these and all other statutory deductions.
• Assist with P11d and pensions administration as needed.
• Assist with TUPE in/out and annual events.
• Provide information on request for audits, mortgage requests, or National Statistics Office data.
• Manage Payroll Services helpdesk and resolve queries within SLA.
