Job summary

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Senior Patient Administrator for the Maternity unit, operating Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. The role requires calm, proactive handling of admin tasks and excellent communication with admin staff, clinicians and patients.

You will work with other Band 4 colleagues to enable cross-cover and maintain high standards of care and service delivery within a busy hospital environment. Cerner experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for Admin staff, clinicians and patients to ensure clear, timely communication.
• Liaise with stakeholders to support efficient service delivery.
• Collaborate with Band 4 colleagues to provide cross-cover and continuity of service.
• Maintain high-quality standards in all administrative tasks and processes.
• Provide administrative support to maternity team and clinicians, acting as focal point of communication between patients and healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to streamlined administrative processes focused on patient needs.
