Job summary

North West London Pathology (NWLP) seeks an exceptional Contracts Manager to join our NHS pathology network. You will oversee contract management to ensure high-quality, value-for-money pathology services across our seven London sites.

Key tasks include implementing robust performance monitoring, defining indicators, addressing under-performance, and supporting procurement decisions. The role offers exposure to a large, integrated diagnostic service and opportunities to shape contract strategy.

Qualifications

• Masters level or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience presenting complex information to multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse performance of specialist service providers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract management for NWLP to ensure high-quality, value-for-money pathology services across Trusts and seven hospital sites.
• Establish robust systems for proactive performance monitoring, define clinical quality/ activity indicators, monitor adherence and act on under-performance; inform future procurement decisions.
• Contribute to development of NWLP/Imperial approach to contracting and provider performance, and build capability within the team.
